HST Registration

The HST was adopted in Ontario on July 1st, 2010 thus eliminating the PST.

HST is applied to most goods and services in Ontario at a rate of 13%, consisting of the 5% federal portion and an 8% provincial portion.

This applies to individuals, partnerships and corporations.

Processing times are currently 10-14 business days and the HST registration is sent to you in the mail by the Canada Revenue Agency. Any questions should be directed to the CRA that pertain to your application once submitted.
